I forgot my dashboard password. How do I reset it?

On the dashboard login page, choose Forgot password?, enter the email you sign in with, and we'll send a link. It expires in 30 minutes. Set a new password and confirm it, and you're signed in — unless you have two-factor authentication on, in which case we still ask for the 6-digit code.

Where do I sign in?

https://your-subdomain.cobberhq.com.au/dashboard/login — the Cobber subdomain, not your public website address.

I sign in with Microsoft. Why didn't I get a reset link?

Accounts that only use Microsoft don't have a Cobber password to reset. The email we send points you back to Sign in with Microsoft on the login page.

The reset link says it's expired.

Links last 30 minutes. Request another from Forgot password? on the login page.

You sign in to Cobber on your organisation’s dashboard, not on the public website. The address is your Cobber subdomain:

https://your-subdomain.cobberhq.com.au/dashboard/login

Email and password, or Sign in with Microsoft if that’s how your account was set up.

Forgot password

  1. Choose Forgot password?

It's under the password field on the login page. You don't need to be signed in.

  2. Enter the email you sign in with

We'll send instructions if that email is on an account for this organisation. The confirmation on screen is the same either way, so someone can't use the form to check whether an email is registered.

  3. Open the link and set a new password

The link lasts 30 minutes. Choose a password of at least 8 characters, with uppercase, lowercase and a number, then confirm it. That signs you in.

If you have two-factor authentication on, Cobber still asks for the 6-digit code after the new password. Resetting the password is not a way around the authenticator.

Microsoft accounts

If your account only signs in with Microsoft, there is no Cobber password to reset. Asking for a reset still sends you an email — it tells you to use Sign in with Microsoft on the login page rather than offering a new password.

If you have both a password and Microsoft linked, the reset email sets a new password. You can keep using either method afterwards.

Invitation you never finished

If you were invited but never set a password, Forgot password? sends you a set-password link the same way. That finishes the invitation.
